be2 is misspelled every now and again. Well, that can happen. We make typos, too (and end up here, for instance :-)), but when you enter b2, betoo, betwo, 2b, 2be or beto in a search engine, you’ll have some trouble finding the matchmaking agency be2 in the search results.

So, once more for everyone (take a note, tell your friends):

be2 is spelled be2 (be2.com for matchmaking in the US, be2.co.uk for matchmaking in the UK, be2.ie for matchmaking in Ireland, be2.com.au for matchmaking in Australia)

PS: Be2 isn’t as bad a misspelling, but we prefer be2.

The whole blog-world loves twitter and be2 will be twittering from now on, too. But what to twitter? The fist tweet is almost as intimidating as the first sentence of a debut novel.

Obviously, we’ll be writing about love, just as we do on the be2 blog. But what do you write about love in 140 characters? We’ll start by getting some inspiration from the things twitter loves. This site collects all tweets containing the phrase “i love”, creating a fascinating caleidoscope of different thing loved by different people.

Use be2 - even the lift in our office building says so - and that lift knows what it’s on about!

Our membership numbers continue to grow - be2 now has 8 million members. We’re happy about each new milestone, what does the number of members mean for be2? Do lots of members equal a good online matchmaker?

There are a few reasons why an online matchmaker is one with many members:

Ever since we’ve been writing about online dating developments for the be2 blog, we’ve been waiting for the moment we could use this cheesy headline.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 million singles started online dating with be2, but that wasn’t enough for us, because none of those occasions offered the opportunity to abuse this cheesy cliché.

So there you have it: online dating with be2 is 7th heaven for 7 million singles! Okay, so it’s heaven for them, but what the hell will we do when be2 reaches the 8 million? Anyone got a good pun?

The Quick Match is barely a month old, but the first couple has already been matched – and has fallen in love - thanks to the Quick Match. Here’s the first success story from a couple that was matched by the Quick Match:

Obviously, that’s good news for us at be2, because we are happy that our service is successful (plus the aforementioned imaginary party hats, champagne and victory tunes have totally made our day), but it’s also good news for all the singles who are looking for love through be2. (more…)
