St. Nick’s Day Wishes

Of course, we all know that Santa Claus brings the presents on Christmas Day, but across Central Europe, he is better known for delivering the goodies on his very own saint’s day: On the night before December 6th, children leave their (preferably clean) shoes outside only to awake and find them filled with presents. Due to the size of said shoes, the gifts are usually not quite as large, but Saint Nicholas usually makes up for it by putting in a personal appearance, accompanied by angels. To honor the occasion, here is our wishlist for St. Nick’s day.

Dear Saint Nick,

We’ve been very good this year. We would like a girlfriend to love, kiss and to cuddle with this winter.

Superman’s Scientific Matchmaking Secret

Yesterday, we found out about Superman’s girlfriend Lois Lane and her many comic book adventures. But, as one observing reader pointed out, we didn’t pick up on the fact that, according to one of the covers, Lois actually used a scientific matchmaking computer to find her perfect match. As you can see, the scientific matchmaking result was spot-on by selecting Clark Kent as her perfect match, while Lois dreams of Superman, who is (duh) the same person.
